1. How do I book?
To Book with MEGABOUNCE, simply call us on 086 0302712 or fill out the booking page Contact Us on our web-site and click submit and we will be in touch as soon as possible. Alternatively you can text us your booking or e-mail info@megabouncingcastles.com . There has never been so many ways to book a bouncy castle.
2. How much notice do I need to give you for a booking?
You can book anytime however we recommend to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment, especially if you have preference for a particular inflatable.
3. How much does it cost?
At MEGABOUNCE we are so confident of our competitive prices, we keep them displayed. Our WEEKEND SPECIAL DEAL is amazing value. Please contact us for details.
4. What do the prices include?
All inflatable booking charges include delivery on the day at a specified time to suit yourself, installation of the inflatable by our professional team and collection of the inflatable later that day/night . MEGABOUNCE also provide our customers with extension cables and safety mats free of charge.
5. What sort of surface do you need for the inflatable?
Inflatables situated outdoors need to be setup on a flat surface preferably a grassy area where the unit can be staked down. We also have sand bags(20 euro surcharge) where stakes are unable to be used. The area must be clear of sharp objects such as rocks etc, not muddy or covered in dog’s mess. We reserve the right to cancel the booking and not install our equipment on unsuitable ground. Slides and obstacle courses must be placed on grass only.
6. How long do I get the equipment for?
Most parties/events are in the afternoon and so we will deliver and set up your castle before 12pm (Or earlier if required), we will then come and take the castle away after your party, we start collection from 6pm. Pick up time can be arranged later or the following day for an additional fee, but needs to be arranged when you book. We will always try to facilitate our customer with delivery and collection times.
If you have booked a hall for your party we can accommodate special delivery times providing it is confirmed at time of booking.
7. Do I have to pay a deposit?
No deposit is required, but if customers feel more satisfied to have a deposit in place, we will be more than happy to oblige. Non refundable booking fees may be required during busier communion weekends.
8. How do I pay?
Most people choose to pay cash on delivery. We do not accept credit card payments or cheques. We only accept payment at time of delivery on a non-refundable basis.
9. What if I need to cancel?
You can cancel at anytime up until the van leaves to deliver your castle. If you pay a booking deposit and then cancel your deposit is non refundable
10. What if it rains?
All of our castles have built in shower covers so can still be used in showery conditions. Bouncy castles should not be used in very heavy rain due to safety reasons. If the weather is too bad we will ring you on the day to arrange another date.
11. Can you set up on concrete/driveways/decking?
We can set up our castles up on grass/tarmac/concrete/decking. We use our clip-on sand-bags to weight the inflatables in this instance, extra safety mats and ground sheets to protect the underneath of the inflatables. There is a 20 euro charge for sandbag hire. We cannot put large slides or obstacle courses on hard ground.
12. How long does it take to set up/inflate/deflate/pack up the inflatable?
The bouncy castles take approx 15 minutes to set up and 20 minutes to pack up by our efficient team. However this is only an estimate, times may vary depending on which castle you hire as larger units and multiple hires take longer.
13. How much space is needed?
We need a 3ft wide clear access to deliver most castles.
The space needed for each size castle is different. Please call us if you are unsure about having enough space for your choice of castle.
14. Is there a limit to the number of children that can use the castle/slide/obstacle course at one time?
Yes each castle/slide/obstacle course has a guide printed on the side/front. Our drivers also advise on the capacities of our inflatables during the safety briefing given on each delivery.
15. Are your units clean?
Yes. All our bouncy castles and inflatables are clean. We are committed to making sure that your children are playing in a clean, healthy, and safe environment.
16. Can you deliver with no side entrance and take castle through the house?
Bouncy castles are often bigger and heavier than most people expect, and so to move them we use large sack trucks. Unfortunately if it should rain, water will get inside the inflatable and this tends to drain out whilst being removed, sometimes on your carpet! Please contact us to discuss what options are available to you prior to booking.
17. Can the bouncy castle be set up on a slope?
No this is not possible however if it is a very slight grass slope it may be ok, you will need to discuss this prior to the booking by calling us on 086 0302712 or perhaps having a site inspection.
18. When I hire the castle is there anything I need to provide?
We supply all the hardware you will need for the castle, you will need to provide a mains 13amp socket power supply. (a standard electric socket)
19. Do you supply food?
Sorry no we do not supply food or drinks.
20. Do you supply Generators?
No, There are a huge range of different types for different requirements so we recommend you go to a tool/generator hire specialist who can advise you.
21. Do you supply safety instructions?
Yes we provide detailed safety instructions with every hire, both printed and verbal as well as a disclaimer which must be signed by the persons/ organization hiring the inflatable.
22. What days are you open?
Our Booking Lines 086 0302712 or 046 9017038 are open 5 days a week, 364 days a year. We hire out units 7 days a week also. We close for the Winter months( November to February) but accept bookings during this time for the following season.
23. How much electricity do the air fans consume?
Not very much, usually around €2.00 electric per day. It is important to remember that the inflation fan is kept for the duration of the party .
24. Do you hire to adults?
Definitely not! All our units are designed for persons under 16 years. Persons over 16 years are not permitted to use our equipment, not insured to use our equipment and likely to be injured if they attempt to use it. Any damage caused to equipment by unauthorized users will be charged to hirer. There are also height restrictions clearly marked on all units which must be adhered to. This includes entering the inflatable for ANY reason. NO ADULTS!
